Minimum Essential Coverage

Ideal for restaurants and prepared food companies, Benefits in a Card’s Minimum Essential Coverage (also called MEC) is a wellness-preventive plan that satisfies the A Portion (or “A Tax”) of your employer mandate. It also satisfies the employee’s individual mandate. If your employee accepts your offer of coverage, you will also satisfy the B Portion.

Minimum Value Plan (High Deductible)

Our Minimum Value Plan (MVP) High Deductible (hd) insurance plan is major medical insurance. This solution satisfies the A and B-portions of the employer mandate, in addition to the individual mandate. However, this plan does carry a high employee deductible.

Fixed Indemnity Plans

Restaurants and food service staffing companies can also offer one of our fixed indemnity levels: Basic, Enhanced, or Premier. These indemnity plans provide first-dollar coverage towards indemnity services for your employees and do not carry deductibles or copayments.
